We love this. It's from the book, The One Thing by Gary W. Keller and Jay Papasan, we chat more about it on this week's podcast. We love that a key theme is multi-tasking and how really, all it is... is doing two tasks with less focus and less ability... at the same time.
Really, the smarter thing to do is one task followed by the other. To be more present with that one task.
It's like Yoga... you're flowing in your movements and then BOOM you start going trough your 'to-do list' and BAM you stumble and fall.
It's all about learning to focus.
To be present.
To do the ONE THING.

Back pain has been a part of both of our lives for many many years. With Emma having scoliosis and Carla Spondylolisthesis we feel like we've had on and off again back pain since forever.
At times it is just pain that sits in the background of life. But also, at times to the point where we can't move. We're grateful to have found an amazing physiotherapist who helps us at these times!
And now through Yoga and Pilates we have more awareness of our bodies, we know what stretches we need to do to stop the debilitating back pain!
Of course everyone is different and at times we need expert medical help BUT what we know for sure is that movement can be (and 100% is for us) a method of healing. It's a way to maintain comfort in the body, a way to help stay mobile and fit for years to come.
